My favorite things on Maui:

My favorite restaurant on Maui for a celebration or special occasion is by far Mama’s Fish House:

My favorite place to buy my fish is Maui Seafood. My clients always rave about the fish I serve them and that is because it doesn’t get any fresher than Maui Seafood. Fresh caught fish daily and it really makes a difference.

My favorite happy hour on Maui is the Monkey Pod. My husband and I like to go to the late night happy hour and sit at the bar and have a drink and share multiple items. They have a great beer selection on draft and specialty drinks at reduced prices.

My favorite bakery on Maui with the best Coconut Cream Pie in the world, Stillwell’s Bakery. My daughter grew up on their delicious treats and whenever she comes home, Stillwell’s is one of our first stops.

Gadgets and must have culinary tools:

I couldn’t live without my Nespresso Aeroccino machine. My mornings just wouldn’t be the same. You can steam hot or cold milk or soymilk. Most amazing little machine that makes the perfect cappucino or latte every time.

My microplane grater/zester is one of the most used utensils in my kitchen.

We use our juicer almost everyday for fresh juice to drink or make into smoothies. The Jack LaLanne Power juicer is so easy to use and clean afterwards.

These handy little lemon reamers are inexpensive and easy to use. I use so much citrus on an every day basis. This is a gem.

I have been through more French Presses over the last twenty years than I can remember. That is why I love this beautiful and stylish French Press that I don’t have to worry about breaking.

Not every potato and vegetable peeler is the same. The Kuhn Rikon Swiss Peeler is the king of peelers and very inexpensive. I usually have two in my toolbox and two at home as back ups.
